1.Certificate of origin

Issue of Certificate of Origin and attestation/ certification of documents for export shipments.

The Chamber is one of the Bodies authorised by the Government of India under the International Convention for Simplification of Customs Formalities to attest Certificates of Origin in respect of exports from India to various Countries. In respect of exports to Middle East Countries all export documents should be certified by a Chamber of Commerce recognised by the Embassy and or the Consulate of the Country concerned and legalised by that Embassy/Consulate. Andhra Chamber has been recognised by the Embassies and Consulates of many Countries in the Middle East for certification of exports from India to their respective countries.

As per DGFT Trade Notice No. 24/2024-25 dated 20th December 2024, it is mandatory to file Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin (CoO) electronically through the DGFT Trade Connect Portal starting from 1st January 2025.

Andhra Chamber of Commerce has completed its registration on the Trade Connect Portal as an Authorised Agency for all its Chapters—Chennai, Secunderabad, Visakhapatnam, and Vijayawada. We are currently issuing Non-Preferential Certificates of Origin through the eCoO 2.0 platform.
As per the new guidelines, the CoO must be applied for directly by the exporter through the Trade Connect Portal.

Steps to Apply for Non-Preferential CoO via Trade Connect Portal:

Visit the Trade Connect website: https://www.trade.gov.in
Exporters who have already registered their IEC on the DGFT Customer Portal (https://www.dgft.gov.in/CP/) can use the same login credentials.
After logging in, navigate to ‘Get Certificate of Origin’ → ‘Apply for Certificate of Origin’ → ‘Fresh Application’.
Select the scheme: Non-Preferential.
Choose the issuing agency: Andhra Chamber of Commerce and select the respective Regional Office: Chennai / Secunderabad / Visakhapatnam / Vijayawada.
Fill in the application form step by step and affix your Digital Signature.
Make the payment online and download your CoO digitally.

2.Visa Recommendation Letter

Issue of recommendation letters to Foreign Embassies/ Consulates in India for grant of visa to Member businessmen proceeding abroad on business. (Only for Andhra Chamber Members) The fee for Visa Recommendation Letter is Rs.500/- plus GST @ 18%

4.Library

The Chamber has a well-stocked library containing books, periodicals and general publications on subjects pertaining to commerce and industry. Also available are trade directories from India and other countries. Access to the library is absolutely free for members.
