National Computer Security Day is observed in India on November 30 each year, in alignment with global initiatives that aim to raise awareness about the importance of IT security and cybersecurity practices. The observance emphasizes the need for individuals, organizations—including corporate sectors, government bodies, and institutions—to protect both personal and sensitive data against threats such as malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks.

As cyber threats continue to escalate, particularly in India and across the Asia-Pacific region, the significance of robust cybersecurity practices and continuous employee awareness becomes increasingly critical to safeguard IT assets.

This session will highlight the importance of this Day and focus on data protection. Shri Ganesh Narayanan, an independent cybersecurity consultant, has kindly consented to address the members on this occasion. Invitation is attached .
