Under the auspices of the President, Dr V L Indira Dutt & Executive Committee, the Chamber, is organizing a Program on “VR & AR – The Nextgen Growth Driver ” – August 23 , 2024, 5 pm at Dr V L Dutt Hall, ACC, Chennai.  Registration at 4.30 pm.  The programme will be followed by Hi Tea.

  Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are considered essential technologies for the transition to Industry 4.0, which is a path towards digitalization crucial for the future of industries.

VR and AR can be useful for industries in many ways, including – Quality management: can help improve product quality by making it easier to detect and correct defects; Process optimization : can provide information that helps optimize processes, such as assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting; Employee training: can provide interactive ways for employees to learn complex concepts, simulate scenarios, and practice skills in a safe environment; Cost reduction: can help reduce costs by eliminating trial-and-error phases and providing real-time guidance.
