Under the auspices of the President, Andhra Chamber of Commerce – Dr. V. L. Indira Dutt, the Chamber is celebrating its 95^th Annual Day on Monday, August 28^th, 2023; 4 pm to 6 pm at Taj Club House.  As we prepare to celebrate this Momentous Day, it recalls to mind the vision and tremendous enterprise of stalwarts who endeavoured tirelessly to establish and build the institution to its current mammoth state of a pan-India membership, cutting across all creed and language in a highly diverse environment – from the British Raj to a Democratic society. Andhra Chamber is also the only regional Chamber to have its offices in 3 States – Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with a proposal for an office in the fourth State viz. Karnataka.

All these milestones could not have been reached without the benevolence and active participation of the members of the Chamber.  The Chamber has been the Collective Voice of the MSME sector. The vibrancy of the Chamber members maintained the impetus for growth of the Chamber by widening its scope of activities from routine chamber work to a higher level of producing Approach Papers and Implementation Strategy Memorandums to the governments and establishing a bridge between industry and policy makers over the years. The Free Consultancy Services, has been a unique feature of the Chamber which has greatly benefitted the MSME sector.

On this Special Day,   The Chamber proposes to launch and honour the following –

• Announce the Launch of ACC Nellore Chapter on September 5, 2023 at Nellore
• Launch the Women in STEAM Forum  ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) to recognize and honour women who have excelled in these fields and made significant contributions to Research, Academia, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation & Start-ups.
• As a special honour, the Chamber will felicitate Ms Divya Abhishek, who has the distinction of being the Youngest CMA in the history of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India to be elected as the Chairperson of the Southern India Regional Council of ICAI.
• Recognize the Services and Honour all the Panellists of the Free Consultancy Services of the Chamber which is organized every 2^nd Saturday of every month. The FCS has the distinction of an unbroken record of service of 95 years from 1928 onwards.
